Recipe Blog in the works!!!

Well, hello there!!!

Ok, so that title says it all.

For sometime now, I have making alot of things from scratch and I mean ALOT of things.

I like to know what I am eating and what is going into my food and one way to know that is to cook from scratch.  I've come across so many recipes and the have been wonderful and I would love for my family and friends to try these recipes and enjoy these meals.

All you have to do is plan ahead, make the time and it'll definitely come out perfect each time.

I will be posting about everything you could possibly think of, from cakes to cupcakes, and pies to casseroles, to appetizers and everything else.  If you're curious about something and want to find a recipe on it, just let me know I will definitely try to get it posted.

So be on the look out for the blog and I will definitely email everyone about it and hopefully it'll be loved!!!

YUM!!

Family time!

Family time is surely the best time ever!

Yesterday we took the girls out and had a great time. Its different living in a apartment complex. You have all off these different families clumped together in one area. You have to deal with different personalities and some of the times other people's crap.

The people out here are fairly quiet (besides the loud music at inconvenient times of the day). People keep to themselves and stay out of your business unless the cops are called, then everyone is in your business.

But besides that, we had a really great time with our girls. It was great to see them go up and down this huge slide and swing on the swings and play kick ball and just run around. It was a great time to take pictures. The weather was wonderful and bees were anywhere that there was a bush.

We had a great time and I can't wait to do it again.

Our very Doc McStuffins & Appointment update!!

Yep that's right folks, mew have our very own Doc McStuffins.

Yesterday was Sia's first appointment at the new Drs office. When I say that this place is ten times better than their old office, it is better. Everything is up to date and it is a more relaxing environment.

The staff seems to truly care about your children and your concerns. Sia immediately feel in love with her. With the old doctor she had seen her since birth but was still kind of uneasy about her. She spoke to her nurse and played with her doctor. We loved it!!!

Kali loved her too! She told us later that she saw Doc McSuffins! I love that Disney does that. They both were really excited.

Ok now about how Sia is doing. Sia is exactly 3ft tall. My baby has gotten so big over the past couple of weeks that it is crazy. Her 2t pants are tooooooo short so she is wearing 3t. Girl is getting tall. She had to get two immunization, which I did not want, but the government says you have to have them in order to go to a daycare or any educational institution.

She had to get her finger pricked, and she did such a good job.

Overall: Great appointment, great experience, great doctor.

Being there for the changes!

As I sit here and "write" this post, I look at my two girls and see how much they both have changed over the past year.

My two girls are amazing, and I'm not just saying that because they are mine. I'm saying that because of all the knowledge I see that they have and because of all of the growth that I see in them every day. When I look at them they amaze me and I can't believe that their father and I created them. When the music comes on and they start to dance, I can't believe that they have all this rhythm and passion.

I love every moment of it and definitely cherish it everyday!

As parents we want for our children to have the world. Regardless how much money you have or don't have, it doesn't matter. It's not about material things. What matters is you being there for your children, especially during the important times. Being there WILL give them the world.

Being there will allow you to see the changes!

You'll see when your youngest turns the light on in the bathroom all by herself for the first time and show you how proud she is for doing being able to do it (she's definitely a big girl now).

Or when you let your girls choose to either play with the iPod or iPhone and while playing, they switch back and forth to share, even though they're playing the same game. :)

Watching you're oldest play Dora games on the laptop and showing how she dressed Dora (her favorite, dressing Dora as an astronaut).

Or eating pretend ice cream or chicken or pizza when your little one walks up to you and says, "I made you something!", and pulls it from being her back.

Hearing/seeing your oldest wake up, look at the window and say, "Mama, it's morning! It's time to get up!"

All those moments are priceless and I love being there for them.

I love US being there for them! *BIG SMILE*

I know it's a cliche, but they do grow up fast, especially during their first year. But after that they'll continue to amaze you. Watching them grow definitely makes me think more and more about having another baby, but some days when their acting like maniacs, the thought goes away some. But you have to remember that they're just children.

I love my stinky booger eaters (they don't really eat boogers I just call them that) and they love me, their Mata!

My growing baby!!

Ok so you expect your children to grow but at a certain point these jokers have a growth spurt.

Sia, for a girl (IMO), has a BIG foot. Know that all shoes are not created equal. I took her to the store and tried on different size shoes. The sz 7 was to big, the sz 8 was too big. So I assumed the the 7 was a better choice. WROOOONNNGG!!!!

I ordered the shoes and they were shipped to my door. And low and behold they wERE TO SMALL. So pissed off and Sia loved these shoes. So it's been raining for like 3 or 4 days. So going BACK to the shoe store hasn't been an option. So Zi took to the Internet.

I Googled to measure your child's shoe size at home and found some basic measurements. Everything said my baby wears a size 8.5!!!! When did her foot get SO BIG!!!!! Looking at her you would think that they were not so big but she can wear a pair of Kali's old shoes. So the hunt continues and I hope the new shoes that we decide to buy, last her for awhile.

Here is my big foot baby!!! A picture of her BIG foot and my BIG girl Kali!!!

Wow, it's been a long time!!

Ok so it has definitely been a long time since I have visited or posted anything on the blog. So much has happened and everyday is definitely a blessing.

So lets update about the girls:
Sia is 2 (just turned 2 on 1/11) and boy is she a trip. I am proud to say that she is potty trained and it is a joy to not have to buy so many diapers and wipes and pull-ups.

That little girl can talk up a storm and will tell you in a heartbeat what so will and won't do!!! (*smile). But I love my chocolate bunny and wouldn't change her for the world. She is a little fire cracker!!

Kali, Kali, Kali.
What can I say about my big girl Kali!!!
Well my baby knows how to spell hear name and we're not just talking about saying the letters. She can spell it on the refrigerator and knows when it is written down. She also knows how to spell Sia's name ( Sia knows how to spell Kali's name, but has is still working on hers) and is trying to spell it on the fridge alongside hers.

This little girl is a trip and wows me everyday. She has a thirst for knowledge and I hope that she will retain that forever. She always talks to me about when she grows up and what she wants to do. I love it!!

I love the fact we can actually sit down and have conversations with our children and even with being so young they get everything we say. I'm not boasting because they're our children but they're more advanced than children they're age. They love doing puzzles, playing video games, watching movies (favorite movie: Madagascar 3) and everything that a child loves to do.

They make me happy but I'm secretly wanting a little boy, but tell anyone :). Ok so what me?!?! There really isn't anything to tell. I'm trying to loose weight and of course when I want to start I find all of these yummy recipes to make everything you can think of from scratch and I've started to perfect my yeast rolls, my gravy, my rice, my chicken, my everything I cook. But being healthy and my babies fed is more important. Kali and Sia love my yeast rolls. They'll eat them all day if I let them.

But that's it basically. We had Sia's birthday party and my place. She had a ball. All of her cousins came except one. Um I'm already planning Kali's and hopefully, one day I can be organized when it comes to one of their birthdays!!!

That's it :)

Letting go :-(

Sometimes you have to do it!

Sometimes you have to let certain things go.  Even when it seems hard as hell, it is just something you should do.  I can be mad but that doesn't change a thing.  Knowing thay your intentions have been nothing but good all you can do is let, it, go!  Your love will always remain the same, but you can't make other people do anything that they don't want to do.  We are all our own individual, but there are certain forces that control people to do certain things.  While you can never take back what has been done, you can try to move forward and start a new.  Never forgetting, maybe forgiving, but always remembering.

Changes

Sometimes change is one of the best things that we can do, as long as its a change for the better.  Being the bigger person in a situation does not show your vunerability or a weakness, it just shows that you know how to step up and try to make things better.

Somethings you can tell yourself you don't need in your life, when in reality you do need them.  I am not saying that I am the best or that I'm perfect or that I'm better than you, but one thing I do know is how to admit when I'm wrong and try to make any necessary change to make things better.

We ALL still have some growing up to do, but in time things will get better.
