So at the moment I have a lot of free time on my hand. So now I'm in the process of making certain things and designing some things as well. The next step is for me to get a sewing machine. Yes, what I'm doing requires sewing.
When Kali was in the NICU, volunteers made hats, blankets and some of everything for the preemies there. I've always wanted to contribute, but I don't know how to knit and I never had the patience to sit down and learn it.
Sooooo, I do know how to sew a little bit, so I've decided to make a couple of blankets for the preemie their. I'm going to the store later on today and I'm going to look at some fabric and thread to see what all I would like to make for the preemies there.
I know I appreciated while Kali was there and hopefully the moms and dads that are going through the NICU experience at this time will appreciate it as well. So here's to very good start!!!
